Rockford Rams 44, Holland 7
Holland first-year coach Scott Schroeder missed the first half of the game to be with his wife, Heather, who was delivering daughter Olivia (8 pounds, 1 ounce). He returned for the second half, but it was not enough to overcome Rockford. The Rams, who led 30-7 at half-time, received scoring runs from Drew Powell (5 yards), Bradd VanderVeen (55) and Spencer Klukowski (3). Andrew Wertz also threw two TD passes -- a 20-yarder to Justin Osborn and a 29-yarder to K.C. O'Rourke. The host Rams' Zach VanSetters also scored on a 34-yard interception return. Kevin Roschek scored on a 1-yard run for the Dutch.
