Rams beat Bucs

Rockford scored one touchdown
in every quarter Friday night to rally from an early deficit
in a 28-14 victory over host Grand Haven in an O-K Red crossover
game.
Bradd VanderVeen rushed for
109 yards on 13 carries and had a 57-yard touchdown run as
the Rams bounced back from last week's loss to Hudsonville.
Spencer Klukowski (1-yard),
Sean O'Rourke (2 yards) and Dustin Pomarius (9 yards) also
ran for Rockford touchdowns. The Rams finished with 202 yards
on 38 rushing attempts.
Kyle Moteberg threw an 11-yard
touchdown pass to Graham Gardner and added a 1-yard TD run
for Grand Haven. Troy Rutherford had 108 yards on 18 carries
to lead Grand Haven's ground game that produced 207 yards.
The teams will meet again Friday
in Rockford under the league's ninth-week crossover formula.
