Rockford Rams 43, Brighton Bulldogs 06

Zach Breen scored on 2 and 3-yard runs, while Callan Sherd returned an interception 42 yards for another score to lead host Rockford.

Tom Fusee scored on a 1-yard run and threw a 30-yard TD pass to Zach Helbich for the defending Division I state champions. Frank Heeringa opened the scoring for the Rams with a 4-yard -- run.

Breen had 112 yards on 13 carries for Rockford, which finished with 250 yards on the ground. Brighton was held to a minus-11 yards rushing on 12 attempts.

Brighton's Zach Nichols scored on a 10-yard pass from T.J. VanDoren in the fourth quarter.
