Rockford quarterback Landen Haney was a perfect 10 in the passing game, throwing 10 completions on 10 attempts for 80 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-10 win over Utica Eisenhower. It was the second win for Rockford in as many seasons over Utica Eisenhower.

The Rams finished 9-2 a year ago, breaking a string of five seasons with 10 or more victories. Rockford's last nine-win season came in 2007. Haney threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Reid Martin with 4 minutes, 11 seconds to go in the first quarter to put Rockford up 7-0.

He later connected with Brendan McKellar on an 8-yard TD strike. Rockford later scored on a 7-yard run by Jake Sendzik and a 37-yard fumble recovery by Tyler Bradfield. Utica Eisenhower scored its points on a 29-yard field goal by Robert Smith and a 37-yard pass from Jake Bradsher to Nick Ribbing.
