BALANCED ROCKFORD ROLLS

Rockford's running and passing attack proved too much for host Brighton to handle. The Rams used 36 carries for 307 yards, and quarterback Spencer Klukowski's 9-for-12 passing for another 110 yards during their 30-9 victory. Kurtis Salter had 92 yards on just three carries, and scored on an 84-yard run. His Rockford, counterpart, Kyle Osborn, had eight attempts for 73 yards and a 43-yard dash into the end zone. Klukowski began the scoring with a 4-yard pass to Chris Haines. Sean O'Rourke had a 6-yard run for Rockford's other touchdown. Steve Kamphuis added a 33-yard field goal. Anthony Besso's 30-yard scamper and Jay Jandastk's 52-yard field goal provided the scoring for Brighton.
